If, as we have told for decades now, that businesses, corporations, and the military are so good for our country why are we and the world in such a horrible state of affairs?

The concept that growth is the best indicator of success is the biggest fraud ever promoted. The next is that consumerism or American Capitalism, is a model other countries should emulate. And after that the idea that to serve in the military elevates all that serve above all citizens in the country they serve.

After decades of wanton exploitation of people, resources, and power our world faces more threats, danger, and unresolved issues that have a negative affect on more people then at any time in history.

Given that isn't it time we start changing how we do things?
